In this 1.5-hour workshop, you’ll learn a variety of simple, science-based, self-care practices you can incorporate into your busy day. You’ll identify areas of your life where stress and uncertainty are creating roadblocks and draining attention, memory, and energy. You’ll learn strategies to manage those “energy drainers” and choose one that best fits your preferences and goals.

Susan is fascinated by emotional intelligence and the science behind it to create better leaders, more engaged teams and healthier, happier workplaces. She launched The Ei Coach, LLC with a commitment to help leaders gain insight into how emotions affect their work, relationships and results. She works with clients to put emotional awareness into action with simple, research proven people-strategies to increase trust, de-stress and improve workplace happiness.
Having spent over two decades in leadership development, talent management and coaching, Susan brings a collaborative and creative spirit to all her relationships. Her clients come from a range of industries including finance, health services, higher education, military, professional services and technology. Using scientifically validated assessment tools, she works with clients to gain clarity, generate ideas and put forth an action plan that maintains positive momentum.
She’s a Master Certified EQ-i 2.0® Emotional Intelligence Coach and Trainer through Multi-Health Systems, an ICF Certified Coach, a Certified Professional Coach, a Certified Executive Coach with Center for Creative Leadership and an Energy Leadership® Master Practitioner. She works as a Forté® Communication Styles Master Trainer and is an Everything DiSC® facilitator. Backed with the latest research from the fields of neuroscience, happiness and well-being, she’s a sought after guest speaker on the connection between mind, emotion, happiness and action in the workplace.
As a recognized leader in the field of leadership development; she was honored as a 2018 and 2019 Chief Learning Officer LearningELITE judge. She’s a graduate of DePaul University’s Organizational Development Graduate Certificate program, a graduate of the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and holds an MA in theater from Missouri State University.
